• The Inside View

Two and a half years ago, I began serving as a government watchdog in Sugar Hill, GA.

I attend every meeting. That means going to City Hall once a week, sometimes more, for meetings that last an hour or two. Often longer.

I have seen Sugar Hill residents come in to voice opinions about a particular case or issue. I've seen people come in to schmooze or ask for something.

No one else has come in for the sole purpose of observing municipal government on a routine basis.

I share public business, right-to-know information, and my take on it with the local community.

What I usually don't share publicly is my personal experience in this endeavor. But, a lot of people seem curious and I get a lot of questions about it.

Here are the answers to some of those questions.
